I took the last of the 15mm Late WWII US Infantry retakes this evening, and can finish up that review. The UC review is ready too.

Problem is, I finished the samples for the 28mm WWII US Infantry review, and now I'm having a blast painting them up. I'll get the articles turned out tomorrow and some time later this week. I have a reader lined up for the UC review, so I'll finish that one first.

I was pondering tonight while reading the D&D 4E Players' Handbook that we likely play every game wrong - some rule, some odd situation that was resolved on the Yahoo! group for the ruleset (or forums, whatever), etc. I found that vastly amusing because that thought would make some people crazy. And yet, we end our games - be they RPG or Miniatures - with smiles and laughs. Since they're games, that means we played them right, even if some of the details were wrong. Funny stuff.

Scott Washburn posted pictures of his 28mm US Infantry on the forums, and they have rank and unit insignia, so I'm going to try to do the same. I'm thinking that these figures will be members of the Big Red One - not a simple patch to paint, but simpler than most. Should be fun!

Anyway, off to bed, tomorrow is finishing the UC review and then more painting of the 28mm figures. Here are my samples (before unit patches, but completed otherwise - even over-dullcoated. I don't want to give away too much about the review, but this is one package from one vendor, so I'm not, I would guess.

Well, that's it for tonight,

Don.
